Walking
Nendaz has a network of mountain walks that run along the irrigation channels which traverse through the mountain at between 800 m and 2400 m accessed by the lift.
As well as the tennis courts directly outside the penthouse in the sports centre (pictured above as seen from the apartment balcony), there are additional courts just 5 minutes walk away (pictured right) with panoramic views of the mountains all around.
Paragliding
Paragliding takes place all year. There are two
schools www.adamair.ch & www.nendaz-parapente.ch in Nendaz which offer classes and courses for beginners. The take off area is at the top of the telecabine at Nendaz and the landing zone is on the football pitch behind the sports centre next to the apartment. You can also try a tandem try-out flights and soar above the mountains for a unforgettable experience.
Just a five minute walk up the road from the apartment, you will find this fantastic heated outdoor swimming pool where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains all around - open from June to the end of September, it is heated to 25 degrees C. Nendaz has 300 days of sunshine each year.
Why not rent a mountain bike - Nendaz is linked to over 200 kms of marked cycle tracks. You can take your bike on the telecabine and spend the day cycling in the mountains - the mountain restaurants are open throughout the summer, and guided tours are also available via the tourist information centre 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
