"The Gaby sports place near the main Nendaz telecabin will look after ski's for 1F per set per day which is better than a locker for the week (particularly if you drive to Siviez for the day etc) and then makes the walk back to the apartment much easier"

I would definately recommend your apartment to friends regardless of the time of year. As advertised, a perfectly placed apartment finished to an high standard.
Were you happy with Gaby Sports service?
We hired 8 sets of skis, 7 pairs of boots, 5 helmets all from Gaby Sports. Considering it was change over day, they were very efficient, and sorted out everything we needed. We changed a couple of pairs of boots during the week, again with no problem. Fantastic service overall. On the Friday, we brought our kit back in dribs and drabs, and again it was not a problem for them.
Is there any information you’d like me to pass on to future guests that you think they’d find useful?
You could incude the requirements for a plug adaptor (and what type is required), as none of the supermarkets had them in stock. We took 2, but with us having 4 phones, 3 DSs , 1 PSP, 2 laptops, 2 video cameras, and 3 digital cameras, as well as a couple of hair dryers, we had to ration the use of the adaptors!

Yes, but my teenage daughter was horrified to find that there was no hairdryer!

Yes, I liked it so much we are considering buying one ourselves. Also may be in touch for next year.

We enjoyed Toko, they gave us a good meal, collected and returned us to the apartment. They were also very friendly.

We had such a fantastic holiday and would definitely return. The village was beautiful with everything you could possibly need. The location of the apartment is superb.

We had a great week as a family with teenagers at your apartment. There is so much to do and it was the perfect summer holiday.

We all enjoyed white water rafting down in the valley near Sion which we booked with Neige Adventure in Nendaz. Our daughter aged 16 tried tandem para-gliding from the top of the lift above Nendaz and she landed on the football pitch near to the apartment. We will definitely be back to this home from home; beautiful apartment with all the mod cons.

I had a fantastic time and I loved the apartment - very luxurious. Our instructor at Ecole de Ski in Nendaz was very good. I’ll definitely be back again. The food in the Cabane Restaurant over the road was fantastic, and the owner was very down to earth.

We had a great holiday, we've had 3 days with lots of sun! The other 3 days it has been snowing, but it was not too cold so we could ski the whole day.

Yes and more so! Everyone commented what a beautiful place you have.

I would definitely recommend it, the apartment had everything we wanted and its location was very good. I don’t think I would come back in Summer because we have an apartment in Southern Spain and tend to go there 2 -3 times each year.
Is there any information you’d like me to pass on to future guests that you think they’d find useful– e.g. – a particularly good restaurant or something to do with your skiing experience?
My friends who can ski enjoyed the ski areas but although the ski school was excellent for all abilities there was no “green” runs for beginners to practice on - but it was a fabulous area. My friend skied with the school from the top of Mont Fort and it was fantastic!
We only ate out once because everyone was shattered with the skiing. We also enjoyed cooking for ourselves. There were ample supermarkets close by but the prices were quite steep, especially meat.
Any other comments?
The local people were very friendly.

Yes, absolutely. We’re considering it for next year and would certainly consider it for long weekends in the spring, summer, or fall if you rent for shorter periods than one week.

Three recommendations for future guests:
We were really impressed by the Arc-en-Ciel ski school in Siviez for small children. It’s run by a former member of the Swiss women’s ski team, Marina Praz-Wicki. At the beginning of the week we were skeptical that the instructors did not intend to use the Snee-Garten for our 2 and 4 year-old children but instead would take them up a beginners piste via the chair-lift. By the end of the week we were amazed that the 4 year old loved skiing down the mountain, in better form than his grandfather. Even the 2 year old could ski down from the top of the beginners chair lift and wanted to ski more everyday. Anyway, here’s the relevant contact information:

2. We had two catered menus du jours arranged through Mira by M. Petoud who owns Le Coin Des Vins on the ground floor of the apartment building. Both meals were excellent and we would highly recommend M. Petoud’s services to your future guests. We intend to use him again.
3. We also had a great fondue dinner at Le Hameau les Clèves which offers both traditional and unique fondues, including goat cheese fondue and champagne and truffle fondue. You have to drive a few minutes above the village but it’s worth it.

What a wonderful place! Nendaz is a lovely village with a real feeling of community and the skiing in on your doorstep and really fantastic. The apartment, with its exposed beams, gives you the sense of being in a chalet and is beautifully appointed – we particularly liked the log fire that everyone wanted to have a go at lighting. It is also so conveniently placed with two supermarkets and a number of very good restaurants within a stone’s throw. We’ll be back!

The Italian restaurant in front of the app accross the street is amasing good. Great penthouse in the middle of town. In front of a ice-skating rink. “Jay [local agent] was extremely helpful and very willing and ready to help” “The apartment was a delight! The photographs on the website don’t do it justice – very spacious and easy to live in. 8 people felt very comfortable – never crowded. It was clean but the only downside was having to make up the beds on arrival”.
“The Italian/Sardinian restaurant opposite was a delight – great food and such nice people. La Cabane although it looked lovely had very unpleasant, aggressive staff. Also the interior was awash with the smell of cannabis – not a great atmosphere to take children into! Although we booked we later cancelled because of their attitude”.
“Nendaz is a very special place. One of our party was a non skier but at no time did she feel there was nothing to do. The apartment was very comfortable to spend time in and outside there was lots to do. The supermarket was excellent and its position below the apartment was just brilliant”.
