


Verbier and Nendaz are the two main centres that make up the 4 Valleys Ski area which is one of the largest lift-linked areas in the world and the largest truly-linked system wholly in Switzerland offering snowboarding, cross country, off-piste, glacier, telemark, tobogganing, curling, dog sledding, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, 250k winter hiking, and ice skating. Nendaz also has indoor tennis, squash, a fitness centre and sauna. The Four Valleys have over 400 kms of marked pistes and many challenging off piste marked runs. The maximum skiable vertical is a 15 km trail / 2,500m descent, Additional lift connections in all directions are at nearby Siviez 10 minutes free bus ride away. Ski lessons for all including toddlers can be found at the top of the Tracouet lift above Nendaz; cross country skiers have paths from 5 - 30 kms. There are two paragliding schools above Nendaz offer beginner and advanced courses.
